Bhangarh Fort is one the most haunted place in the world. It is also one of the greatest unsolved mystery.  Bhangarh Fort is 17th-century fort build in the Rajasthan state of India. It was named by Madho Singh after his grandfather Bhan singh. There are two Stories related to the history of the fort.

Story of Bhangarh Fort, the Most Haunted Place in India:

The first story is of a Sadhu named Baba Balau Nath who lived within the fort area. It was his injunction that if any house build the precincts is taller than his house, it will result in destruction of the fort.

The another story is of Princess Ratnavati. She was very beautiful and attractive. After she turned 18, many suitors from several states asked for her hand in marraige. Among all the suitors, there was a sorcerer named Singhia who wanted to marry her. He knew that he was no match for the princess, so he decided to entice her with the magical powers he had.

One day, he saw princess Ratnavati’s mistress in market purchasing oil and he then enchanted that oil with black magic. The princess came to know about it. She poured the oil on ground. The oil became rock and rolled towards the sorcerer and crushed him.

The sorcerer cursed the city to death before dying and as a result, it will never witness any rebirth. Several locals believe that the princess has taken rebirth and will come back and unfortunate the spell on Bhangarh Fort.

Scientists  might have rubbished the story but many people claim that they have heard the voices of women screaming and crying, Bangles breaking and many other noises.

There have been many tragic incidents there because of which it is not allowed  to enter the fort after sunset and before sunrise. The government of India has banned people from staying in Bhangarh fort, Most Haunted Place in India after the sunset. Isn’t that scary as hell.
