On Guru Nanak Gurpurab, the 548th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, celebrities Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh greet their fans with twitter wishes.

Guru Nanak Gurpurab Jayanti, the auspicious festival saw a great number of tweets from very well know cricketers and Bollywood and TV celebrities. Well known celebrities from entertainment to cricket industry , took to Twitter to wish their fans on the occasion of Guru Nanak Gurpurab Jayanti — the birth anniversary of the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Dev.

Guru Nanak Jayanti, also known as Guru Nanak Gurpurab and Guru Nanak’s Prakash Utsav is celebrated as the birth anniversary of the first Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Guru Nanak, also called by followers as Baba Nanak, laid the foundation of Sikhism and Gurpurab is a festival which is celebrated everywhere by the devotees as a reminder to follow the Guru Nanak dev Ji and his teachings and overcome the five vices – lust, greed, attachment, anger and pride and devote their life in the selfless service of Humanity and God .
